Abstract
Results of the first low-temperature EPR study of single crystals of Photosystem I from Synechococcus sp. are reported. The predominant signals in the orientation-dependent spectra are due to the photoreduced iron-sulfur-center, FA. Six magnetically inequivalent FA--centers per unit cell can be resolved. Their g-tensors and the orientation of their principal axes relative to the crystal axes are determined.
