Abstract
Direct detection of coherent neutrino scattering off of nuclei in acoustic detectors can provide a sensitive probe of the weak nuclear charge, thus providing a new probe of radiative corrections due to new physics above the weak scale. These measurements could in principle provide a sensitivity to new physics similar to that obtained by atomic parity violation experiments, but without the atomic theory uncertainties. This is compared to present limits on such physics incorporating recent LEP results.
