Abstract

Laser velocimetry is reviewed, covering the basic prinicples, dual beam laser velocimeters, reference beam laser velocimeters, multi-velocity component systems, photodectors, signal to noise ratio effects, the scattering particles, the properties of random light flux, signal processors, and data processing.
