Abstract

Cleavages of a liposomal phosphodiester by Eu3+ or La 3/H2O2 are attended by 50 to 70-fold rate accelerations relative to a non-aggregated model phosphodiester, whilst trans-bilayer Eu3+ transport can be mediated by an hydrophobic ethylene diamine derivative.
