Abstract
A time series is a set of observations that are generated sequentially in time. This article considers discrete-time series, where observations are made at some fixed interval h. A time series can also be considered as a possible realization of a stochastic process, which is a statistical phenomenon that evolves in time according to probabilistic laws.
