Abstract

A Microsoft Windows '95/NT, Visual C++, Direct-3D based software environment, called Interactive Modeling, Simulation, Animation and Real-Time Control (MoSART), for simulating and visualizing high-performance helicopter systems has been developed. The MoSART helicopter environment is a valuable tool for enhancing both education and research. The existing framework can accommodate very complex simulation, animation and control models. MoSART was designed to be modular and extensible and because of these features, it can be used as the basis for developing other interactive system specific MoSART environments.
