Abstract
This paper describes the use of a small dedicated digital computer for interactive execution of dynamic simulations. Interactive computing allows the user to communicate with the program during its execution to make data inputs and to control its flow as the computation progresses. Its applications in areas such as power system automatic generation control, hydro plant dynamics design, and power boiler air flow controls are reviewed.
