Abstract
Integrated source drivers for a 4″ Quarter Video Graphics Array (QVGA) electrophoretic display have been developed using amorphous silicon TFTs on flexible stainless steel substrate. The current design reduces the number of column interconnects to the display by more than 3x compared to a display with external drivers. This integration reduces cost and improves reliability.
