Abstract

Effective identification of organizational talent and its training and development can mean the difference between profitability and nonprofitability - and in some cases, even survival. This article describes a talent identification program that uses multiple raters, participatively developed job-related performance criteria, performance standards, and rater feedback to assure fairness in the rating process.
