Abstract

Two recent research projects that focused on current and planned information technologies are described here. The first study completed by the Center for Logistics Management at the University of Nevada examined U.S. third party logistics service providers. The second study performed by Golden Gate University concentrated on high-tech manufacturers in Northern California. In both research projects, several interesting patterns were recognized.
