Abstract

This paper is concerned with the effects of FACTS controllers on the Available Transfer Capability (ATC) and power flow control based on the injection and transportation models. The relationship between a special protection system and the FACTS remedial control is analyzed. A power flow control technique is developed using the transportation models and matrix computational techniques.
