Abstract

Reliable software is a critical component of image-guided surgical applications, yet costly expertise and technology infrastructure barriers hamper current research and commercialization efforts. The Image-Guided Software Toolkit applies open source methods to provide a safe, inexpensive, and reusable infrastructure.
