Abstract

The high temperature heat content of crystalline PbF2 increases rapidly between 625 and 750 K, with an antropy incre ase of 16.5 JK-1 mol-1. The region of rapid heat content increase correlates with a large increase in ionic conductivity and is associated with fluoride ion disorder.
