Abstract
Corporate political activity is on the upswing, and today's manager is often challenged to understand the public policy process, anticipate possible consequences of coming issues, and implement effective corporate political planning. The author describes a framework for corporate political planning, and a view of the public policy process in light of advances in the “economics of politics.”
