First- and second-order resonant Raman scattering in graphite

Abstract

We report a determination of the Raman-scattering efficiency for first- and second-order phonon lines in graphite. These measurements are of interest for the analysis of the Raman spectra of amorphous carbon films, materials of increasing technological interest.
