Abstract

An experimental approach, designed to support chemical engineering technical topics, is discussed. When incorporated into a chemical process, the approach helps the students in gaining knowledge of some differences between raw and highly processed materials. Such materials provide safe, environmentally friendly, aesthetically engaging hands on experiencing a wide variety of topics on chemical engineering. It was found that the students responded positively to the use of these materials in the form of natural dye stuff.
