Abstract

Concepts of edge diffraction have been used to compute scattered and radiated fields of waveguide geometries; they can also be used to predict perturbations in patterns introduced by such features as edges of ground plane; this communication considers TEM-mode axially slotted ground plane of finite width and length; diffractions from edges of ground plane and their contributions to overall pattern are shown in computed results.
