Abstract

Variations of the even mode cutoff frequency are examined as a function of dielectric constant and height in a shielded multilayer Coplanar Waveguide (CPW). Specific combinations using internal substrates are shown to increase dominant mode bandwidth and produce maximization of the even mode cutoff frequency.
