Abstract

Energy levels in ⁴⁷Ti and ⁵⁰V were located by means of the ⁴⁷Ti(p, p′), ⁵⁰V(p, α) and ⁵⁰V(p, p′) reactions. The (p, p′) energy resolution was 8 keV, and the (p, α) resolution was about 15 keV. Fifty excited states were found in ⁴⁷Ti up to 3.84 MeV excitation, and sixty excited ⁵⁰V states were identified below 3.75 MeV. Consistent level schemes are presented for both nuclei.
