N2 - Time-resolved phosphorescence spectra of vitreous benzophenone have been recorded at 4.2, 77, 120 and 140 K within the time domain 2 μs to 20 ms for sampling times between 2 and 500 μs. They show energetic relaxation of triplet excitons within the inhomogeneous distribution of bulk states at a rate of = 100 cm-1 per decade time as predicted by computer simulation.
