Abstract

The ultrastructural morphogenesis of the CHV-BR strain canine herpesvirus (CHV) grown in dog kidney cells is described. The sequence of virus development differs from that described previously for other CHV strains grown in dog kidney cells and resembles closely that of herpes simplex virus and several animal herpesviruses.
