Abstract
New expressions for the magnetic and electric fields generated by arbitrarily shaped current loops are presented. The expressions pertain to all points in space outside the current conductor. Vector magnetic potential and certain first derivatives are calculated without recourse to field solvers; subsequent calculations yield magnetic flux density and electric field intensity. Understanding current loops finds application in fields including recording, medicine and weapons.
