Demonstration of a reflective coupling diode in a coupled waveguide structure

Abstract

A reflective coupling diode in a coupled waveguide structure was demonstrated. The reflective coupling diode presented a viable planar option for future circuit design. It was demonstrated that through the properties of the coupled waveguide system, a bias can be applied and the velocity of an incoming mode through highly reflective states in the system can be sweeped.
