Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Inspired by Dunitz’s treatment of the geometry and flexibility of cyclohexane, we describe some ways in which hexagons and octahedra can become self-entangled and linked. Connections to topics such as flexibility of frameworks, tensegrity structures, and Borromean rings are indicated.
