Creative self-efficacy

Abstract

The concept of creative self-efficacy (CSE) represents one of the most active areas of scholarly work by creativity researchers interested in understanding the creative self. This entry will provide an overview of creative self-efficacy starting with a brief discussion of how the construct was defined, how work on CSE evolved in the field of creativity studies, and current conceptualisations and measurement approaches. The entry concludes with recommendations for future research.
