Abstract

The authors regretfully report errors in the decimal placement reported for the volumes of the whole brainstem, midbrain, pons, medulla, and the superior cerebellar peduncles, which were reported in the abstract and the result section of the paper. The corrected volumes and standard deviations are written below: Migraineurs had smaller midbrain volumes (healthy controls = 6128 mm3, SD = 589; migraineurs = 5880 mm3, SD = 664; p = 0.038). There were no significant differences between groups in the pons (healthy controls = 14,623 mm3, SD = 1870; migraineurs = 14,330 mm3, SD = 1763; p = 0.39), medulla (healthy controls = 4556 mm3, SD = 519; migraineurs = 4394 mm3, SD = 510; p = 0.09), superior cerebellar peduncles (healthy controls = 241 mm3, SD = 45; migraineurs = 244 mm3, SD = 49; p = 0.70) and whole brainstem volumes (healthy controls = 25,550 mm3, SD = 2830; migraineurs = 24,850 mm3, SD = 2790; p = 0.19). We thank Zhiye Chen, MD, PhD, Lin Ma, MD, PhD and Shengyuan Yu, PhD for bringing these errors to our attention and would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused the readers.
