Abstract

In the article referenced above, errors in several figure panels were inadvertently introduced during the course of review and revision. Specifically, in the original publication, there was a copy and paste error in Fig. 2D where the 2nd set of immunoblot lanes (pIRS -1 Ser612) for 16-month was a copy of the 10-month lanes. In the corrigendum figure, we have added the correct representative immunoblot lanes for pIRS-1 Ser612 for the 16-month WT and 3xTg-AD mice. Full blots are shown in Supplementary Fig. 1A. In the original publication, there was a copy and paste error in Fig. 5E, where the β-Actin immunoblot for the 16-months group was a copy of the total AKT for the 16-month group. In the corrigendum figure, we have added the correct representative immunoblot lanes for β-Actin for the WT and 3xTg-AD mice. Full AKT and β-Actin blots are shown in Supplementary Fig. 1B. In the original publication, there was a copy and paste error in Fig. 6D where the second set of immunoblot lanes (pGSK-3β Tyr216) for the 16-month group was a copy of the 10-month group. In the corrigendum figure, we have added the correct representative immunoblot lanes for pGSK-3β Tyr 216 for the 16-month WT and 3xTg-AD mice. Full GSK-3β Tyr216 and β-Actin blots are shown in Supplementary Fig. 1C. In addition, in the body of the original publication, we cite Fig. 6H, where it should have been Fig. 6F. The bands in Figure 5A for Tg2576 and WT littermates were selected to represent the group average and in this case, 9MO pAKT Ser473, the WT and Tg2576 bands did not come from contiguous lanes. The labeling for genotype and age in the figure is correct. The original blot is shown in Supplementary Fig. 2. All the authors have been made aware of this error and have agreed to its correction. The editors and authors regret any inconvenience to readers arising from these errors. [Figure presented] [Figure presented] [Figure presented]
