Abstract

Important issues on control chart were discussed, primarily on autocorrelated data. Topics discussed regarding positively autocorrelated data were: the use of algorithmic statistical process control; a summary and critique of suggested approaches; and sample size and parameter estimation considerations for both autocorrelated and independent data in the retrospective analysis and process monitoring phases.
