Abstract

The authors investigate and compare several frequency-domain LMS adaptive algorithms. These are M. J. Dentino's (1978) LMS (DLMS) algorithm, the fast LMS (FLMS) algorithm, and the proposed optimal FLMS (OFLMS) algorithm. Computer simulations are carried out to evaluate these algorithms under different conditions. It is shown that the OFLMS produced excellent results, particularly in the case of colored-noise excitation.
