Abstract

Presents the results of a three year study of the potential and limitations of CR dating. Nine calibrations are reported. At least 23 different environmental variables can influence a CR and these must be controlled if dates are to be valid. SEM methods are inaccurate and bulk chemical methods like PIXE are strongly preferred. -K.Clayton
