Abstract

Apply It! By reading this article the health and fitness professional will: - Learn that cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia is superior to sleeping pills for treating insomnia, and its accessibility is rapidly improving. - Be reminded that exercise can promote sleep in insomnia. - Find a list of recommendations on good sleep practices that can be shared with clients to help with insomnia symptoms.
