Abstract
The goal of this study was to describe the factors employed by clinicians in assessing treatability in offenders seeking statutory benefits of drug treatment. This goal was achieved by using descriptive principles from representative designs in the field of psychology to make explicit the decision rules or clinical policy of an Ohio forensic psychiatric center.
