Abstract

This paper presents numerical simulations and testing results of the new method which is proposed for stability robustness of multimachine power systems. The approach is based on Structured Singular Value (SSV) tools. The variations of operating conditions are treated as structured uncertainty. Simulation results for a test system have shown excellent accuracy of robust stability assessment for a wide range of operating conditions.
