Analysis and synthesis II: Universal characteristics

Research output: Contribution to specialist publicationArticle

Abstract

The importance of quantum electrodynamics and quantum chromodynamics is discussed. These phenomena are based purely on abstract concepts and provide good impressionist models of matter when supplemented with just two numerical parameters. In astrophysics, the behavior of very large amounts of matter is studied over long periods of time. Therefore, by adjusting a few parameters, the analysis of matter can be extended to cover most of the astrophysics.
