Abstract
An improved random walk model for personal communication services (PCS) networks was presented. The improved model reduced the number of states required for an n-subarea cluster and reduced the computation time almost by a factor of 1/4. Extensive simulation results were also presented to demonstrate the accuracy of the proposed random walk model.
