Abstract

Adsorption equilibrium constants and intracrystalline diffusivities of methanol, ethanol, and acetone from aqueous solution and toluene and acetone in cyclohexane solution in silicalite crystals were determined by using HPLC. The ease of using the LC technique in the determination of adsorption and diffusion of liquids into very small zeolite crystal powders is demonstrated.
