A self-consistent event biasing scheme for statistical enhancement

Abstract

A self-consistent event biasing approach for statistical enhancement of the probabilities associated with the transport of carriers is discussed. The approach has been extended for stationary transport determined by boundary conditions. The approach is derived from the integral form of the linear Boltzmann equation (BE), where Coulomb interactions are neglected. The approach is generalized for Hartree electrons in presence of both initial and boundary conditions.
