Abstract

We use Hadamard matrices to construct designs for event-related functional magnetic resonance imaging experiments with one stimulus type. Under certain assumptions, we prove the D-optimality of the proposed designs in estimating the hemodynamic response function, and demonstrate the usefulness of these designs via case studies.
