Abstract

Nonlinear loads are becoming more common in electric power distribution systems) this work proposes the use of Walsh functions for analysis of systems with nonlinear loads. A circuit analysis technique based upon a component connection model (CCM) is developed for use with Walsh functions. Several illustrative examples are presented, and analytical results are compared with those obtained using the circuit analysis program SPICE.
