Abstract

This case study demonstrates how regularities in raw data can be automatically determined and expressed by means of rules. The data describe temperature profiles of 32 reactive crystallizations. Six processes were contaminated, resulting in bad product quality. The aim of this data analysis is to extract rules, which allow to predict the outcome of theprocess. The most important steps of the implementation are explained and their automation is discussed.
