Yuma County Family LIteracy Workshops Yuma County Family LIteracy Workshops Support the rural piece of the Arizona Statewide Family Engagement Center (SFEC) activities including implementing family literacy programming at model demonstration sites (LEAs) and provide professional development services to a region of state. With the goal of improving academic achievement for disadvantaged students, the partner will assist in providing high-impact, evidence-based family literacy activities and resources that connect the home, school, and community. Partner will hold community family events focused on the importance of early language and literacy skills, reading and sharing books, and book distribution at project site(s).
