Whole Genome and Transcriptome Sequencing Analyses of Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumors Whole Genome and Transcriptome Sequencing Analyses of Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumors Valentin Dinu, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics at ASU. Dr. Dinus laboratory is focused on managing, integrating and analyzing genomic and clinical information. Dr. Dinu will coordinate ASUs role in the project, perform data analysis of the genomic sequence data and disease association analysis. Joshua LaBaer, M.D., Ph.D., is one of the nations foremost investigators in the field of personalized medicine. He is the Director of Personalized Diagnostics and Piper Chair in Personalized Medicine at ASUs Biodesign Institute, as well as a Professor in the Department of Chemistry& Biochemistry at ASU. Dr. LaBaer will oversee the sequencing process in his lab and provide expertise and advice on data analysis and biomarker validation.
