Thermodynamic Model Aimed at Data Reduction for Antibody Binding to Peptide Arrays Thermodynamic Model Aimed at Data Reduction for Antibody Binding to Peptide Arrays Statement of Work We propose a 3 month project involving: Develop a Matlab program that fits array datasets to the appended model (or similar). Using two sets of data from normal donors, fit the model parameters to one set of donors and determine how well this fit describes a second set of donors (Pearson correlation coefficients will be used as the quantitative comparison). By varying the number of terms in the model, determine the effective number of molecular recognition elements that need to be included in order to maximize predictive value of the model (at some level this could be viewed as the number of different kinds of distinguishable binders in the sample). Using a case and control dataset from a disease selected by HealthTell, determine to what extent the disease based information content is captured in the model (can the model be used as an effective data reduction approach while maintaining the disease specific information?).
