The City of Phoenix HOPE VI Project The City of Phoenix HOPE VI Project The City of Phoenix (CITY) HOPE VI Project, Community and Supportive Services (CSS) Program has allocated funding to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the impact of the HOPE VI Project. This study will evaluate: The impact of the revitalization activities on the lives of residents The nature and extent of the economic development generated in the Matthew Henson community and the business community The effect of the revitalization activities on the surrounding community The effectiveness of integrating the physical and social aspects of the program The effectiveness on achieving the goals of the Community and Supportive Services Work Plan Arizona State University (ASU) committed to conduct this evaluation in connection with CITYs grant application. ASU and CITY have entered into an inter-governmetnal agreement (IGA) to which this Scope of Work is attached. For purposes of the IGA ASU will be considered a sub-grantee of the grant to CITY and will be required to comply with all applicable grant provisions.
