ArizonaStateUniversity(ASU)isoneofthelargestuniversitiesintheUSandaTier1researchuniversity withfourcampusesintheGreaterPhoenix,Arizonaarea.Itprovidesundergraduateandgraduate educationinabroadrangeofdisciplines.Ithasreceivednationalandinternationalrecognitionisa numberofareassuchassustainability,spaceexploration,renewableenergyresearch,andbusiness. TheCollegeofTechnologyandInnovationisthesolecollegeonthePolytechnicCampuswhereworkfor thisprojectwillbeconducted.Thecollegeincludesdepartmentsinthesciences,engineering, engineeringtechnology,andtheMorrisonSchoolofAgribusiness.Ofparticularimportancetothis projectisthePhotovoltaicReliabilityLaboratory(PRL)onthePolytechnicCampus.Itperformsstateof theartresearchintotheissuesthataffectthereliability,durability,andsystemperformanceofPV modulesandarrays.
