Systems Engineering Efficiency Research Systems Engineering Efficiency Research As the director of Intelligent Decision Systems Laboratory at School of Computing, Informatics, Decision Systems Engineering, Arizona State University, Dr. Wu has over 10 years research experience in decision support and information system. For this project, Dr. Wu will advise 1 Ph.D. student to work closely with the project PI and Co-PI from AFIT to 1. Conduct system parameter analysis (Task 2 in Phase I). Dr. Wu has been collaborating with Center for Rapid Product Development (CRPD) since the summer of 2010. This project is a natural extension of this on-going collaboration. 2. Develop and assess the performance of different decision making models (Task 4 in Phase II). a. Study the acquisition workflow and explore the use of reengineering and lean techniques to reduce the waste (no-value added) activities.
