Description

Objectives are to document Arizona toad within its range in Arizona. Researchers will conduct distance-constrained visual encounter surveys for larval toads May-July, 2020 and 2021. Survey sites from known historical localities from georeferenced data (from AGFD HDMS, GBIF data repository, museum records, 2) Unsampled localities determined high-priority by habitat suitability spatial model. Deliverables include presence/absence data, site occupancy, and detectability values for sites sampled.
