Study for the Commercialization of Low Earth Orbit (LEO)

Project: Research project

Description

To secure a long-term presence in LEO, we propose a cross-cutting evolutionary business framework for maximizing the utilization and optimization of current and future platforms (e.g. ISS, free flyer) in a manner that advances and develops human spaceflight and commercial opportunities. Our framework is based in market driven dynamic demand and supply and best practices from other commercial examples including; common collaborative shared spaces (e.g. WeWork), real estate, and IT/technology shared services, etc. The Deloitte team will deliver a time phased roadmap that helps NASA stimulate commercial industry in LEO, optimize use of space platforms, and advise on the role of government in a growing commercial environment.
