Spiders Silk: From Protein-rich Gland Fluids to Diverse Biopolymer Fibers Spiders Silk: From Protein-rich Gland Fluids to Diverse Biopolymer Fibers Professor Jeffery L. Yarger has a longstanding collaboration with Prof. Greg Holland and we are transferring our current DOD AFOSR grant led by Prof. Greg Holland, to San Diego State University (SDSU) and subcontracting back to ASU for the final year of the grant (Dec 2015 - Nov 2016). This project involves collaboration between the Holland and Yarger groups on spider silk proteins. Specifically, Prof. Yarger is the Co-PI on this DOD AFOSR grant (AFOSR - FA9550-14-1-0014) and will perform standard Co-PI activities such as mentoring students, writing papers, giving presentations and leading research efforts.
