SHIELD: Safety and Health Improvement: Enhancing Law Enforcement Departments NIH Executive Level I Salary Cap Safety and Health Improvement: Enhancing Law Enforcement Departments (SHIELD) The purpose of the sub-contract is to support Dr. David P. MacKinnon and staff in the statistical analyses and methodological development of data on the grant with Oregon Health and Science University. Dr. MacKinnon will also collaborate on the data collection and supervise data analysis with staff at OHSU. The analysis will include reports on statistical analysis to determine the program effects, mediation analysis, and moderation analysis. During each year at least one research assistant will assist in the data analysis and research. Dr. MacKinnon has extensive knowledge and experience in data management and analysis methods for large prevention projects including several projects already completed in collaboration with OHSU researchers. This work and advanced statistical analysis, such as mediator analysis and covariance structure analysis, will be conducted at Arizona State University in the Department of Psychologys Research in Prevention Laboratory.
